Workshop
Adapting to climate change in time
Rome 19-21 July 2010
The ACT Workshops, organized by ISPRA in Rome in July 2010, were attended by ACT partners and around 50 participants.
The workshops looked at these main aspects:
- Climate change scenarios and downscaling;
- Evaluation of impacts and local vulnerabilities;
- Definition of adaptation strategies;
- Definition of actions and adaptation plans.
The main objective of the workshops is to create a common and shared knowledge basis among the ACT partners and also to support the capacity building of local authorities that will have to implement local adaptation plans in next ACT actions.
During the 3-day event in Rome, the ISPRA survey results have been presented: the Baseline climate scenario and the State of the art review.
