Climate change: the real battle will be in the city. And here's how to tell

European cities are exposed to the effects of climate change as any natural area, but the high degree of artificiality of the urban environment makes the dynamics much more extreme. The attention to the relationship between cities and climate change emerges with a new European Environment Agency’s dossier, "Urban adaptation to climate change in Europe, challenges and opportunities for cities together with supportive national and European policies."
