Ancona: EU Cities Adapt - Stakeholder Dialogue
The Adaptation Strategies for European Cities project together with the City of Ancona organises one day Stakeholder Dialogue in Ancona on July, 11.
This is the final of the Stakeholders Dialogues being organised across Europe, inviting city delegations, other regional or national stakeholder as well as European experts.
The free of charge Stakeholder Dialogue will provide partecipants with tailored expertise on climate change challenges. It will offer the opportunity to exchange experiences on climate change vulnerabilities, to share and learn from good practice city adaptation case studies, and to voice opinion on current and future adaptation needs of your city. The Stakeholder Dialogue will discuss themes such as coastal impacts and sea-level rise, flooding, water scarcity, and extreme heat suited to the participants’ experience.
The Stakeholder Dialogue will offer a unique chance to contribute to the development of customized training tools, which cities can use as guidance for their specific adaptation challenges and options.
In order to provide balanced views, interested cities are invited to include diverse stakeholders in their delgation, from political decision-makers to administration, from business to environmental and social groups, from general public to academia. Whether your city is an adaptation champion or only in the beginning of its adaptation journey, participation in the Stakeholder Dialogues will award you an opportunity to be selected to benefit from an extensive capacity development and exchange programme that will help your city in developing an adaptation strategy.
