NEW European Clearinghouse on Adaptation to climate change CLIMATE-ADAPT is born

CLIMATE-ADAPT is a partnership between the European Commission and the European Environment Agency, and is designed to support policy makers at EU, national, regional and local levels and "practitioners" - engineers, planners and administrators - who can learn from the experience of others facing similar challenges in order to develop climate change adaptation measures.

The Clearinghouse has been very recently launched (last Friday) for users requiring to access and share information on expected climate change in Europe, current and future vulnerability of regions and sectors, information on national, regional and transnational adaptation activities and strategies, case studies of adaptation and potential future adaptation options, online tools that support adaptation planning, adaptation-related research projects, guideline documents, reports information sources.
